Just a couple sundays ago i took a trip to Janesville to play the course only to find the course is down due to maintenance. It wasn't a rainy day but it might as well have been. The course will be closed until June 15th for those who don't know. From what i saw it looked like a good course and I will be back for sure. I had to settle for Beloit...

How is the Beloit course? I've never played it.

Its not a bad course for only 9 holes. Most holes are under 300 ft. Some trees but fairly open. With good drives its possible to birdie every hole.

That course is for shorly nice for 9 baskets. Well spaced out for a smaller park.

I have played Janesville in the past couple weeks. It is a course that has some challenges, but is very short. If you are good at short drives should be a good course for you. Has a cool hole where you are up on a hill and looking down at the hole about 450' away fun shot. Good 18 holes a couple through the thick woods but the paths are very well maintained and very short. Recommend the course not a bad drive from Rockford. As for Beloit it is fun if you want a change of pace. Very easy
