I find it hard to believe Hole #5 is 340 feet as it is marked.
Anyone else got any thoughts on this? does it seem right or shorter then that to you?

Hole #5 on the new course is not downhill is it? And I hope more people start using the boards but it is slow going in the start up.

many of the sign posts are wrong, but not too far off. my guess is on hole 5 that its 315. when the course was installed all the holes were measured once and then forgotten, but people changed either the teepad placement or the baskets' placement to thier liking so the numbers may be a bit scewed.

Hole 5 is right around 330-340. The problem is that the green slopes drasticaly right around the pin. So it is very easy to get a skip at the end of your shot leaving you 30-70 feet long down the hill. Thus making the hole seem shorter. Look at the very next hole(#6). It is 300 feet. There is no way that hole is even close to the same distance as #5(which is easily 30-40 feet longer). Like John Daly says, grip it and rip it.(we're all goin' for an ace run anyway, right?!) ;D
