Although it is frustrating at times, I have to say that this second 18-hole course is a welcome addition to Anna Page.
Thanks to all who put forth their time and efforts.

RIB - I have not had the chance to play the new course. How would you describe it as compared to the original course? I do plan to get out there soon - maybe as soon as the 40 mile an hour winds pass us by.
ps. good job putting up the site. I have always felt bad that such a nice course had so little info available on te web.

The new course is very different from the first. The west course has tighter fairways, and several trees nearby to wear in any new discs you have recently bought. Hole 1 starts with a wooded fairway as forshadowing of things to come. Then the course opens up abit, Holes 2 and 3 have hyzer fairways. Holes 4 and 5 are fairly straight away holes. #6 is a Lefty hole which means Anhyzer for us normal folks. #7 is long hole that goes straight out then up a tighter fairway to the left and the hole is up the crest of the hill on the right. (lovely huh?) #8 is tight and back into the wooded fairways that hole 1 hinted at. #9 is from elevated tee out to a hole that is surrounded by 3 trees. Then you get to meet Hole 10, 600 feet of wide open fairway that should have a telescope on the tee sign to see the hole. Hole 11 is straight shot with a low ceiling and bushes surrounding the hole. #12 is another Anhyzer (thanks Carl ) with trees to get into on both sides of the fairway. #13 has yet to have a define alley to throw thru. #14 is long straight shot with fairly tight fairway and a nice hill to the left of the hole for us right handers to fall into. Holes 15 thru 18 basically go back and forth across the same wooded ravine that #1 started you off with. these last holes have fairways filled with trees, trees and more trees. Well my descriptions cannot do the course justice but it gives you a fair idea of what to expect. I have had my frustrations learning this course but everytime I pull into the park I am looking forward to making my mark on this course again. By the way most of my marks are on the trees, mostly yellow plastic , feel free to laugh at them if you see any. RIB

Thanks for the description - I can't wait to get out there. Sounds like a great way to spend a day. Hope to get out there in the next week or 2.

the new course is very challenging , after years of training on the original monster throwing 300- 400 foot drives every hole.. and having wide open fairways ....then moving to tree alley playing holes that are lined with trees going down the fairway can bring a decent player into the gutter real quick. but if you get a get a new rock and a stable driver , putter..and start finding the '' fairways'' if any.. or just get lucky and not hit a tree.. the course average plays around 4 to 8 down for some of the better players .. peace
