I ran a handicap league in 1993 & 1994 for the GRABM Disc Golf Club. The rules were very simple:
Every player must attempt to play everyone in the league once at their convenience (a list was given to each player at the beginning of the league).
The handicap was based on a minimum of three matches (stroke play).
Wins or losses were not determined until handicaps were established for each player. Without prize money being involved, players competed for the lowest handicap & also winning matches.
Match results were turned in to me or put in a drop box I mounted behind the bulletin board.
I posted results & player's handicaps on the bulletin board weekly.

If anyone has ideas for leagues this spring or summer, now is the time to get them posted so our TD can put something together.

I have posted my thoughts on the facebook page located here www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/groups/300213422580/...if you can not view this somehow then I am happy to copy and paste it all for you. I am very much for a handicapped league but have different ideas as to how Barry ran it in the past and so forth. Everything over time should and can be tweaked for the amount of people and to please the group as a whole.
