Hi all,
I will be in town for a few days and was wondering which courses you play most often and which courses are worth driving to from Rockford.
Thanks.

St. Charles has a great 9 hole course on the corner of Peck rd and Canton hills rd. If you contact St. charles park dist. they can give you detailed directions, in my opinoin it is worth the drive.

Hey all, New member here I live in a small town about an hour sw of Rockford and wanted to let you all know we have 7 fine courses within a couple hrs. of the Rockford area. There are great 18 hole courses in Freeport and Sterling with fine 9 hole courses in Mt. Carroll, Savanna, Rock Falls, Morrison and Fulton, IL. So, grab your discs and take a cruise southwest for some fine and challenging disc golf. See ya on the courses . . .Sportsdude25

also a new member....
fairfield park in round lake, IL is definately the coolest course i've ever played. it's carved through a wide open prarie for most of the holes. they mow the fairways to about 30 feet wide and circle around the pin. really well groomed with great elevation changes. there's also a few wooded holes with really low and narrow hallways. most of the holes are tree-less. this course also has illinois' longest hole at 850 feet. round lake is NW of chicago and probably about 1 1/2 hour drive from rockford. definately worth the drive.
