i know im new to the area, but i think there needs to be a course between rockford and sterling. ive been searching around and talking with Tim McNinch from sterling and found White Pines and Castle Rock state parks would be KEY for possible A Tier tourney's. i've helped course designs on a few now enough to know about proper placements of tees and baskets to fullfill competition for all ranks (novice to pro). but im not very experienced in being a TD or official. im gonna need some help pushing this idea and need the right backing. i may have some sponsors already to help with materials and equiptment needed for this task. (www.throwdg.com) Tim also mentioned having a disc store closer to rockford would be good, which is also a HUGE possiblity! My brother from out west has his own disc products and is currently working on custom discs to outrageous clothing. if there is ANYONE interested in pushing this like i am get ahold of me asap! Oh and i'll be in rockford saturday to try out anna page, if anyone wants a pick up game call 815-994-3213 Thanks all

Gerald,
I've been thinking about the same idea for a while now. I call that area the 'Bermuda Triangle'. There is no courses between Rockford, Kirkland, Freeport, Sterling, etc. I will be contacting you between now & Saturday to discuss the possibilities & I would enjoy a pick up game so that I can meet with you. I will need to check the tee pads for leagues on Sunday anyway. I can also explain what our club does & what benefits we provide for membership.
