Remember to Pre-Register to save yourself the added $5 day off fee. Also, per amateur player packs we are including dri-fit shirts with tournament info and multi-color logo but these are limited to the first 100 registered. When you pre-reg you can put in for what size you would like. We are also going to be offering a raffle for a mini basket and possibly some other things as well. We also plan to have concrete on the new tee pad for 15 on the East side. Hope to see you all out there and we have some nice cool weather.

The additional holes on the east course for the tournament will be the normal setup. The additional holes on the west course will be 6a, which will play 393' toward the chip pile in the pines. 6b will be the tunnel shot along the creek & will play 267'. 12a & 12b will be the same 2 played at the Rockford Open. The holes will be marked Saturday afternoon.

Those wishing to participate in the GRABM Classic who did not get a chance to pre-register are in luck.
I have processed less than 25 pre-registrations & there are many spots available for those who want to register Sunday morning.
Please be early to assist us in getting the tournament started on time. Registration will close at 9:00am.
Thanks & hope to see you there.

What a great tourney!! The dry-fit shirts turned out awesome! I hope the club can get some more, I know people will buy em. A big thanks to Mike L, the new logo looks great. Another Big thanks to Bear, there's a lot of work in being TD. Everything ran very smoothly. Great job Bear! For those of you who missed this event, you missed out. One of the ctp's was a red bull cooler! Only way this event could have been better ... if I didn't hit every tree on the fairway!

A young man hit an ace on hole #22. I can't remember his name and I forgot to write it down. I was going to talk to the guys Sunday for some help. If anyone can give me his name, it would be greatly appreciated. That is the only thing holding up the PDGA report, sorry.

I would really like the scores to be posted on PDGA.com please. You should have the scorecards to figure out who had the ace, no? Also, why were the am payouts so bad? I played a kenosha C tier the weekend before this one and got 2 dollars more funny money for 4th out of 9 people in int. 1st got $90 or more for adv at a C tier! $32 for 1st in adv at a B tier is weak.

i agree. those payouts are horrible. $32 for first place in advanced? you only get your money back for first?

The payouts were figured after the $15 am player packages were deducted. We were excited about the shirts that were given as player packages but they did cost us a bit of money.
Your feedback is important & will determine how payouts are done in future events. B tier events have more restrictions on player packages so maybe C tier events are in the future of most GRABM tournaments.
Thanks for all who came & please continue to post comments so we can make our tournaments better.

$15 player pack plus $9 per am player payout = $24. $24 dollar value on a $30 entry fee does not seem like a B tier value to me.
