Anyone know what the park looks like with all the flooding? What are the chances of tourney getting cancelled next weekend?

As of Monday 4:30 pm, Krape Park is completely closed to the public. There were guards at both entrances and they weren't even allowing walk-ins. Probably no concrete work this week and the tourney on Saturday is very iffy by my estimate. Perhaps Dave will post and clarify soon...

message from Dave Barber, Freeport TD
Ok Disc Golfers, Krape park is flooded badly. I spoke with the park director, Jack Carey, today (Tuesday) to see if they would let us still play a tournament this weekend. He is willing to let us do it, but it will be a smaller round of golf since we will only be able to use the top of flagstaff hill. We planned on adding 2 extras up there anyway, so that would make it 14 holes. We have 2 more baskets available including Bob Hales from Mt. Carroll if we can find a place to fit them. Also will have to enter from the front entrance of the park, drive through the park and cross over the bridge in the back to get to flagstaff hill. No back entrance and no waterfall traffic will be open.................... Soooooooooo spread the work and Contact me ASAP if you forsee any problems............................... thanks David
