I have sent an e-mail for pre-registration for the 2010 Club Challenge. We have at least a dozen people committed to play for team GRABM but we will need a few more to complete our team. We need at least 15 people!
Leave a post or contact any club officer if you are interested & you did not speak up at doubles Sunday.

We are looking pretty good on numbers for the challenge on Sunday as long as those who committed follow through and make it out. If anyone is still interested have no worries, we need at least 15 members present but as many as make it out are welcome to play. If you are wanting more info, or want to coordinate rides please make sure to get a hold of Carl, Barry, or Myself all contact info is available on main page of website. Thanks to all those attending in honor of our club and lets play some quality golf and show those other clubs what we are made of!!

Spoke with Tom McManus today and you guys are in. However, he asks that you post your roster on Discontinuum's website so they can get ratings for everyone (including non-PDGA members) and get divisions broken up. I was told to apologize for his delay in response as well. He has been pulling double shifts for the past week and a half and anything other than work or sleep has kinda taken a back seat.

I have e-mailed the roster information to all the club officers for final inspection.
Again, if you are a club member or want to be a member & you want to participate in this event, you will need to contact us ASAP.

I have your name on the "potential" list already. Call me, Scott or Carl to verify information & take care of the membership issue. You are in if you want to go. We will post more information about travel arrangements & where we are going when we get our roster submitted.

Alright, here we go folks. We now have car assignments and drivers figured out for our trek to the club challenge.
First off we are all meeting at the Hilander in front of Cherry Vale Mall @ 6:45 AM.
Drivers include Brennan, Adam, Jay, and Carl. Brennan will be taking Mike Lara, Justin (Ginger), Booker, Vince, and Brad. Adam is taking Bear, Chuck and Jim W. Jay will be taking Rob, Charles, and Craig. Carl is taking Scott H, Dane and Chris. I will be driving myself cause I have to stay in the area for most of the week afterward.
Hope everyone follows through with their commitment and lets take this thing back to Anna!!

Team results: After the first round, Jtown had the early lead with Discontinuum and the Streamwood team close on their heels. GRABM and Fox Valley Metro rounded out the competition being in fourth and fifth respectively. Fox Valley Metro had the largest team improvement from first to second round, but it was the marked improvement of the players in the lower pool for the Streamwood Disc Golfer's Union that allowed them to pull ahead and win the club challenge for the second year in a row. Congratulations guys. Top 8 Lower positions + Top 5 Upper positions multiplied by 3 = Team Score Round 1: Team | Lower | Upper | Total | Jtown | 118 | 33 | 217 | DGC | 113 | 42 | 239 | SDGU | 144 | 33 | 243 | GRABM | 168 | 101 | 471 | FVM | 294 | 139 | 711 |
Round 2: Team | Lower | Upper | Total | SDGU | 70 | 50 | 220 | Jtown | 148 | 42 | 274 | DGC | 174 | 58 | 348 | GRABM | 128 | 104 | 440 | FVM | 310 | 82 | 556 |
Final: Team | Final | SDGU | 463 | Jtown | 491 | DGC | 587 | GRABM | 911 | FVM | 1267 |
