Many thanks to those who helped with the wood chips on the east course. At least six truckloads of wood chips were put around the tee pads in 90 degree heat. They will be scattered & washed away so this will need to be done more often.

Barry that sounds like a good plan but I really don't think anything needs to be cut other then the tree on 14 on the east and we pretty much got everything ready at the shelter the other day. Nothing more can really be done until the day of the tournament. I would gladly help with the removal of the tree but other then that I don't really know. Do you want to clean the snow and leaves out of the shelter?? Let me know.

Scott, Scott, Jim, Kevin & I cleaned up the mess in front of #14's basket on the east course. We also trimmed where the brush was encroaching on the tee areas on both courses.

We are expecting a light snow overnight & volunteers are needed to sweep the tees tomorrow morning. Bring a broom if you wish to help. We will have plenty of salt at the shelter.

I repaired the sleeves so baskets #11 & #14 on the east course could be moved. Baskets #11 & #14 are in the A position now. All baskets are now in tournament positions.

Baskets on both courses have been moved to easier locations for the winter league. The west course may need to have a couple of the baskets moved again for better visibility after the snow is on the ground (#3, #18, etc). That will be open for discussion after doubles on Sunday.

Carl and I cleaned the pads on the West side today and salted them except hole 13. There was quite a bit of ice though and could prolly use a shovel off after the salt has some time to work and then a re-salting in preparation for Fridays snow as I expect no one will be out to shovel between that snow fall and Sundays league. Let me know when you are planning tags.
