Alright, I see no one has posted and ace story yet, so here it goes. I've had about 10 aces in my career, but the 1 that stands out the most is this. Winter league at rockford in 2000. Barry maxwell, jim dill against myself and rod fritz. On like the second or third hole of the round, B MAX hits an ace with a sweet turnover shot on hole 9(B position). I never thought i was gonna here the end of it. Well, about 9 holes later we get up 2 hole 1(A position). At which time we were down by 3 to B MAX and pickle with 5 to go. According to the "ripper" defeat was imminent. Ah, but not so says the dicsninja. I was last 2 drive. With a perfect arching hyzer with my purple omega, SLAM!!!!!! The tee went silent, and i went freakin' bezerk! B MAX couldn't believe it, nor could anyone else. He thought he had surely pocketed all the ace money and the win, before that.(ace fund was $198) Alas we came back to win -10 to -8. I've had longer aces, but that was the sweetest by far!!!

Bagged hole 8 last week right after the biggest snow I've seen there in 4-5 years. See kids, thats good karma from shoveling the tees. By the way thanx to all who helped, you know who you are. That's one way not to lose yer frizzbee in the snow. Just ace it!!!!

the ones that stick out the most, i aced hole 8 [old-course] on the original ... some how it managed to get through the tree, second most memorable ace would be in geneseo.Third : a ctp at some Rockford tournament i was last up and stuck a spider in the side of the cage from about 200 feet away to take the cash...and the crowd goes wild..

:'(One of my most memorable ace moments was back in the mid 90's. I had just set up the Rockford Open and yelled "tee off" for the tourney to start. I was first on the tee pad and threw a strike on hole #17, the very first throw of the tourney! Reality set in when I realized that I hadn't started an ace fund. ;D The most memorable of all was at a tourney in Crystal Lake. I hit an ace during the second round to take the money, and then hit another one during a pick up doubles round with Blaster, Jetman, Rifleman, and a couple others I can't recall at the time. The only day I hit twice.

When i joined this board i had no aces in my pocket, so it was mandatory to hit some with the name b throwin aces. So far I've had 2 this season, hole ten in freeport which helped me hold on to my #3 freeport bag tag and after about a million ace runs on 17 I finally sank a roc! ;D

We were playing a bag tag after doubles on Sunday. As we were walking away from basket #3 on the east side, a disc comes slamming into the chains from the group following us. WS (the lucky SOB) hit his 2nd ace in a week. He also hit the ace in doubles the week before. It was strange hearing hit the chains from so close & trying to figure out where it came from!

I hit hole 17 on the east side during a tag round after sunday doubles. Finally got an ace on the east. Hit it with a champion rhyno. I called it in the air that it was going to hit. So sweet.

Hole #15 at Crystal Lake? No, that was a double bogey. But two holes later I hit #17. Unfortunately I didn't get the ace pool because I failed to get in. The wind was in my face so I got the full sound effect.
