just want to put this out there for those of us that read this.

We need to set our tournament dates for 2010 before the end of this year and submit them for date approval. I received a TD email stating dates were already coming in. If we want to avoid any scheduling conflicts this needs done now, not a few months before the tournament.

some dates already possibly taken are:

a-tier may 22/23 Illiana Open
a-tier june 5/6 Peoria
a-tier sept 26/27 Hamilton

A-tiers trump all other events.

Here is the priority scale.
A-Tier
B-Tier
C-Tier
Same TD running on same weekend the year previous.

Note: There are several TD's/Clubs that plan on hosting Am B--Pro B events next year, and they will bump events that are Am B--Pro C.

Maybe we can get this done at the next club meeting in December.

Here are the dates for our events: note there may still be some changes as everone is still scheduling.

Arctic Blast (XC-tier)-- Saturday, February 13th? Fox Valley does have this date scheduled but it is a non sanctioned event. I will leave it up to our members to decide if we wish to hold this date, or move it to the 20th

Rockford Open (C-tier)-- Sunday, June 13th? SET

GRABM Classic (B-tier)-- Sunday, August 8th? SET

Halloween Havoc (XC-tier)-- Saturday, October 23rd? Waiting to here from state Coordinator, Brett

State Coordinator is awaiting a reply back from the Joliet Championships team about the Oct weekend.

The Arctic Blast will be held on the 20th it has been decided. So we hope the Fox Valley tournament goes wonderfully on the 13th and hope some of you join us also for our tournament on the 20th. Hope this helps you out chainsgang! Also we have planned to move the Halloween Havoc Tournament to the 31st to avoid any problems with the Joliet area even though they are outside the parameters of distance sanctioning.

The Mad City Open (A tier) was previously scheduled on the same day as the GRABM Classic on August 8, 2010.

The new date for the GRABM Classic will be August 1, 2010.
